  • 18.3% of Asian-Pacific Islander (API) women experienced contact SV, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime.
    • 22.9% of API women experienced some form of contact sexual violence (SV) during their lifetime.
    • 9.5% of API women experienced rape at some point during their lifetime.
    • 7.6% of API women experienced stalking at some point in their lives.
    • 21.4% of API women had non-contact unwanted sexual experiences during their lifetime.
    • Among reportable states, the state estimates of contact SV at some point in life was 25.5% for API women (1 state).
    • Among reportable states, lifetime prevalence of contact sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner was 27.8% for API women (1 state).
  • 13.7% of API men experienced contact SV, physical violence, and/ or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime. 
    • 9.4% of API men experienced some form of contact SV during their lifetime.
    • Among reportable states, lifetime prevalence of contact sexual violence, physical violence, and/ or stalking by an intimate partner was 20.4% for API men (1 state).
